Thriving Women 2023 Grant - Ka Hānau Ea Home Birth Program will make the option of home birth with an all-Indigenous team accessible for Kanaka Maoli families.
HAWAIʻI PEOPLE'S FUND
2022:

Hoʻāla Grant - Ka ʻĀmana Koʻokua Mentorship Program will increase capacity for Kanaka and Pasifika ʻohana served by training six new Koʻokua as part of our first cohort. Community and cohort learning provided through quarterly special topic workshops.

Giving Project 2022 community funding will help ensure our hui's operational and program sustainability.
2021:

ʻŌmaka Resource Development Project created researched, culturally-rooted art and multimedia resources for community and ʻohana served.
2020:

Ka Laʻi o Hauola Distance Doula Program provided participants with immediate prenatal, birth, and postpartum doula services in direct response to the COVID-19 health crisis.

The Pili Kau, Pili Hoʻoilo Distance Postpartum Program provided six total participants with individual postpartum support in direct response to the COVID-19 health crisis.

Nā Makawai Cohort Member. Funding allocated for operational purposes (Executive Director, Development Director, Grant Writer) and to run in-person and virtual Ka Laʻi o Hauola Program.
2020:

Online Childbirth Education Series provided online childbirth education instruction for Kanaka Maoli and Pacific Islander birthing people during COVID-19.
WOMEN'S FUND OF HAWAIʻI
2020:

Ka Laʻi o Hauola Doula Program funded perinatal support services for 12 Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander women.
